A Mexican guy asked me, "So is it like a mini world in there"! He was so right, that is exactly what it is. This is the Truman show of all cultures, habits, clothes, languages, athletes, people types, food... it is like a mini world!

Well I typed a long and newsy Blog and then the internet dropped me so I lost my story, so here are the facts I have to report!

Our heat on Monday is good, there are 10 K4 boats here, 2 heats of 5, the first 3 of each heat go straight through to the final, then the last 2 from each heat go to a semi of 4 and 1 of the boats in the semi drops out to join the other 6 boats from the heat! GET IT? good!

So we have China and Germany (havent beaten them before), Italy (always have a good tussle with them) and Japan (havent raced them before). SO if we have a perfect race, we MAY, go straight to the final. But if not, we are not stressed, the more we race the better we seem to get! We want to race now!

Otherwise my parents are here now too, so we are having a ball, today we went to lunch (Daw, Kirsty, Mom, Dad and Myself) we ordered chicken (usually a safe bet)! BUT imagine this... a plate, full of brown blobs with sauce. You could see bones, feet and I am sure a pipe or valve of some major organ! IT WAS CHICKEN, an ENTIRE chicken, they didnt leave anything off the plate...


Well Check out the pics I added of Daw and Kirsty's visit to the village, and the waterpolo we watched.

Daw and Kirsty are having a ball. How do I know this, well I heard Kirsty shout this yesterday morning as she saw me, " YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!" That was a clue! THey watched hockey, Waterpolo and the highlight was tennis centre court with Venus Williams and NADAL! (Nadal sat 1 table away from us at lunch yesterday!) HE is much bigger and taller in real life than on TV.
