We are on the Costa Blanca in Mediterranean Spain to compete in the 2nd annual EuroChallenge surfski race in Villa Joyosa. It's been so rad travelling with the family! Me, Nix and Sam and also Granny (my mom) who came from england to help babysit.

the flight over was hectic with Sam who just couldn;t get to sleep (understandably). Yes we were "those people" with THE BABY! How things change! But, depsite the hecticness....we're loving every minute of it. Sam is raging here in Spain and growing up fast.

So far we've gone hiking into the little mountain town of Sella, dominated the beaches in Alicante and Villa Joyosa and also totally owned the farm's little irrigation dam. Of course I need not mention the darn fine Spanish cuisine which has been stunningly prepared by the volunteers (especially Gal from Israel) who live and work on the farm - Hort de Gloria where we stay. We also ran a small coaching clinic yesterday with the Juniors from the club.

today I think its time I take the crew down to Valor Chocolate shop.....Hmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm

Okay, probably the next news item will be post race. conditions are looking FLAT!!!!
